West Los Angeles Garage Conversion

This garage conversion was designed by the homeowner and used cool materials that you would never think to use when converting your garage. First, a kitchenette was added to the space as the law for ADUs/garage conversion requires a working kitchen to be added. A couple of windows were added to let in plenty of natural light as well as two doors with horizontal glass panels for additional light to enter the room. In one part of the garage walls were added to make a designated home office for the owners. Wood shingles were applied to 2/3 of the walls and the bottom 1/3 a stone tile in earthy colors. On the right side reclaimed wood was added to this wall.
